The Jackpot3 CNC Controller
We have been listening, learning, and putting everything together from the original Jackpot and Jackpot2 into the Jackpot3. The result? A more capable CNC controller, that is easier to use, and includes everything you need to run your V1 Engineering CNC, most other nema17 based CNC's, and has an expansion ports built in for the advanced users.

Want One?
The first few batches have been out in the wild and tested, now they are finally in stock and in regular production so you can get one from the V1E.com store, or internation direct from Elecrow.
What Makes Jackpot3 Special
The Jackpot3 refines the CNC controller into an efficient all in one design.
- Powerful ESP32 processor — a 32-bit dual-core processor running at 240 MHz gives you motion control and built-in wireless connectivity.
- Six integrated stepper drivers — TMC2226 drivers are onboard for better heat transfer compared to older designs with the same reliable performance.
- Flexible I/O — 7 switch inputs and 4 voltage-selectable outputs let you easily hook up endstops, fans, relays, spindles — whatever you need. Plus a FluidNC compatible expansion module and a RJ11 for the most common accessories, saving cost and space.
- Expandable and open-ended — one FluidNC expansion socket lets you add more boards or modules to grow with your machine’s specific use case.
-
24V - 24V means fast stepper response at higher step rates, and cost-efficient commodity power supplies.
- MicroSD support — put your G-code on a card and run standalone jobs without tethering.
FluidNC — Wireless CNC The Easy Way
Out of the box the Jackpot3 runs FluidNC, a modern CNC firmware that’s nearly fully GRBL compatible and built around convenience. Change settings, jog the machine, update firmware — all from the built-in web interface on your phone, tablet, or laptop.
Whether you’re browsing locally via the board’s own access point or connecting over your network, FluidNC makes CNC control clean, intuitive, and customizable — no firmware compiling required.

If you prefer not to use FluidNC, GrblHal is another option for firmware.
What’s New vs. the Original Jackpot?
All the good stuff from the original and made targeted upgrades to make using the controller easier:
- All six stepper drivers are onboard with better thermal performance.
- Four fully dedicated outputs that are easy to use and voltage-selectable.
- USB-C for robust wired connections.
- Reverse-polarity protection and cleaner power layout.
- Integrated RJ11 for pendants or expansion boards.
In short: Jackpot3 is an all around update from the original Jackpot with some more commonly used features built in.
